Teresa “Teri” Susan Weigel was the Playboy Playmate for April 1986 and one of the few people to be a Playboy Playmate and then go into hardcore pornography.

Weigel grew up in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and began her career as a lingerie catalog model for companies such as Saks Fifth Avenue. She first appeared on the cover of the November, 1985 issue of Playboy, and then was the Playboy Playmate for April 1986. Weigel also appeared in a number of Playboy videos before her relationship with Playboy ended acrimoniously in 1990, and she has claimed that Playboy has tried to interfere in her post-Playmate career and dropped her completely after she started to do hardcore porn.

In addition to modeling, Weigel began acting and appeared in a minor role on NBC's Miami Vice during the 1985–1986 season. She subsequently had several minor roles in mainstream film, including Predator 2, Marked for Death, and 1988's Attack of the Killer Tomatoes starring George Clooney. She also made multiple TV appearances as "Jade" on Married... with Children.

She is best known for being the first Playmate ever to act in hardcore pornography, after appearing in Playboy, in 1991. The first Playmate ever to appear in porn was Miss January 1977 Susan Lynn Kiger who unbeknownst to Playboy had done one hardcore movie in 1976 a year before she shot as a Playmate. She was also the second Playmate to go on to appear in Penthouse magazine (after Ursula Buchfellner), November 1985, although not as a Pet of the Month (that "first" belongs to Linn Thomas). Weigel said her entering into porn was not something she wanted but it was pushed on her cause Playboy had stopped using her, she had a poor relationship with new Playboy CEO Christine Hefner, and she had a serious car accident in 1990 and needed to work.

Weigel said the move into pornography was easy since she and her husband both were swingers and had no issue having sex with other people. Her husband would enter porn at the same time she did and also performed with other women. "The fact that I came from Playboy was a huge deal and they treated me like a superstar," Weigel later said. "I always got the box cover and was the highest paid actress at the time." Weigel said she avoided doing girl/girl scenes for her first few films since she had no experience with women before porn. "My first time ever with a girl was was with Alicyn Sterling in a threesome with my husband. She ate my pussy better than any man and I came. After that I knew I could have sex with women," Weigel said. "I believe every woman is bisexual. They just rarely get the chance to act on it and porn allows women to find that side of themselves." Weigel's first proper girl/girl scene would be with Madison Stone in the movie Wicked(1991).

Shortly after beginning to act in porn films, Weigel had her breasts augmented. She has also changed her hair color from her original dark brown to blonde. Weigel has been in two serious car crashes (in 1990 and again in 1994), and it is unknown if she had any plastic surgery as a result.

In 2005, Weigel was one of many porn actors inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame at the AVN Awards, the major industry awards show held annually in Las Vegas.

She has also worked as a featured escort in a legal Nevada brothel, the Moonlite Bunny Ranch. Her husband since 1986 who also entered porn with her, Murrill Maglio, passed in 2015.
